Summary

Prospective real-world data on n=2970 cancer patients with medical cannabis (Israel 2015–2017); main symptoms: sleep disorders (78,4%), pain (77,7%, median 8/10), weakness (72,7%), nausea (64,6%), loss of appetite (48,9%). After 6 months follow-up, 95,9% of the remaining responders (n=1211/2056, 60,6%) reported an improvement in their condition, 3,7% no change, 0,3% worsening. Cannabis as palliative treatment well tolerated, effective and safe for symptom control in cancer patients.
